Classroom Training
Classroom training makes the most of our trainers’ supplier relationship management know-how in a live, interactive workshop format. We’ve used our extensive experience of procurement projects for multinational companies, and our deep knowledge from industry research (see Annual SRM Survey) to design training modules that cover the full range of SRM skills needed to unlock results.
e-Learning
We develop bespoke, branded e-learning for clients that communicate SRM governance models, processes and ways of working across the organisation. These can include video footage (eg, of senior executives talking about the importance of strategic supplier relationships) and interactive tests to check understanding.
These e-learning modules can be uploaded to the State of Flux Supplier Relationship Management System, and flagged to both internal and supplier users, as appropriate.
To date, we have created online training courses for major international companies in industry sectors such as telecommunications, consumer goods, and oil & gas.
Our bespoke e-learning gives organisations a low-cost way to reach a large number of people – wherever they may be.
One to One Coaching
Coaching is a powerful way to transform skills into behaviour. Our clients use our team’s coaching skills and experience of supplier relationship management projects to help individuals find their own way to apply SRM best practice.
The coaching provided by State of Flux is always tailored to what clients need. We use a mix of face-to-face, email and telephone contact to fit in with coaching clients’ work patterns. Our clients tend to use coaching to:
- Follow-up on training programmes and make sure that training delivers real change; we find that coaching helps to make training stick.
- Mentor SRM stakeholders, whether they are hands-on (eg, client-side or supplier-side account managers) or executives with management responsibility for SRM programmes.
