SRM Research

Insights on SRM best practice, and what your stakeholders and suppliers really think

We believe that effective Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) depends on an honest relationship. Each side needs to understand the other’s motivations, plans and goals – and know how the other side sees the current state of the business relationship.

SRM and procurement professionals also need to know how their peers in other organisations are managing their most important supplier relationships, and keep up with SRM best practice.

We use a mix of online questionnaires, interviews, quantitative analysis, and workshops in our research. We use this process on:

  • Voice of the Supplier analysis. A review that will show how your key suppliers see the state of their relationship with your organisation and how this compares to their relationships with other customers.
  • State of Flux SRM Survey. Our annual global review of SRM practices and issues across several hundred organisations – now in its third year.
  • Relationship Healthcheck projects. A 360-degree review of a specific customer-supplier relationship that identifies relationship issues and how to resolve them.
